We are a team of professionals including architects and designers. We share similar goals, and we creatively look to the future with optimism and sensibility. MetropolitanmomentuM is a professional design studio where we come together implementing and testing a variety of ideas and theories aiming to improve the quality of life of people through a holistic approach to architecture. It pursuits solutions that encourage physical, spiritual, and intellectual activities. It focuses on the design and realization of architectural projects that are part of urban fabrics. All projects are developed following a rigorous intellectual process that leads to an integral design solution. Projects are conceived by testing and studying ideas that aim to work cohesively with existing urban structures, infrastructure, surrounding geographical features, and the environment. These bring to light simple solutions that may challenge conventional thinking. Our design process delivers harmonious answers to tangible problems.

MetropolitanmomentuM is committed to designing  and building projects that are sustainable. Its architecture aspires to work symbiotically with local communities, urban environments, and nature. It focuses on finding a clear vision for a successful project by designing through process. We actively listen to our clients to identifying their needs. A continuous dialogue is part of it, and it is complemented with extensive design experimentation, research, and experience. Our work offers innovative solutions that embraces new technologies, and our projects are designed in context to achieve meaningful architecture.

We Care for the Built and Natural Environments

MetropolitanmomentuM is a design studio located in Los Angeles, California. Its work focuses on analyzing, designing, and creating links between private and public spaces that ultimately connect or re-connect people, urban communities, and nature. Its projects aim to help to revitalize and to improve the quality of life of people in cities and in key urban areas through architecture.

In our design process we find it important to discuss ideas about nature, art, science, history, or architecture that may relate directly or indirectly with the project at hand. It has proven to be a helpful and effective exercise before starting to sketch. From the beginning, we attempts to find an equilibrium that ultimately brings people and communities together. It is the beginning of a design process that requires careful research and observation.

We recognize that people’s affinity to proportion, balance, and order has a direct connection to our natural surroundings. Therefore, we believe that in any human endeavor there is a reflection of nature in it. At its best, it is a sensitive human expression that borrows from nature its wisdom, and they are translated into actions. One may call them artistic expressions. They can also be described as sincere and in many cases unconscious translations of nature reflected into one’s work. They may be executed in an infinite number of ways. Proportion, balance, and order among others represent silently our intimate relationship to our own environment. This profound manifestation of what we perceive around us may be expressed as design and architecture. It may express more vividly the hidden relationship we have with nature and to one other.

MetropolitanmomentuM has been interested in creating links between existing communities through architecture and urban design. We have devoted a large part of our efforts working on projects in cities rich in history looking to revitalize and improve their natural and urban environments. It is our commitment to engage people through design.
